Background:During 1.2M2 milestone test, readline-native can not be built successfully on FC16.We wonder why this build failure was not captured by the autobuilder and suspect there might be some host contaminations on the autobuilder, because the readline-native build failure could be worked around by installing ncurses-devel on FC16 using 1.2M2. We suggest uninstalling the unnecessary *-devel packages on autobuilder so such kind of bugs would be captured by the autobuilder. So could someone help to point out which packages are needed for build system and which ones are not.
I'll get a list of what is installed on the ABs. No devels should be needed for yocto-autobuilder functionality, however, I want to test this on one AB slave before we push it out to the other ones. Also, I suggest upping the priority a bit as a host contamination issue is a pretty important issue....
We've got a list of packages needed on the autobuilder (02). So far, we've seen no issues with it, so we can now implement on the other autobuilders once ab freeze period is over.
Reassigning to RP per request.
Reassigning to me.
Currently the autobuilders are undergoing a rolling OS refresh. The pkgs installed will be as thin as needed in order to be functional autobuilders. This will essentially make this bug moot. Reassigning to halstead as he's doing the OS refresh.
Assuming the newly built autobuilders haven't been tainted we have two machines left that aren't clean. I'm rebuilding them and Beth and I are rotating them in. This should be finished by July 24th.
I can verify that the new machines have not been tainted with anything other than "tree" (my requirement) and maybe "mc" (because RP has a strange love of it that no one understands ;) )
ab02 and ab10 are now clean. Three left to go.

I just removed all libraries that have gotten back onto the autobuilders. If http://autobuilder.yoctoproject.org:8010/builders/nightly/builds/775 completes this is done and tested.
