With 1.2 M4, there is not dtb file in http://autobuilder.pokylinux.org/nightly/20120328-1/machines/mpc8315e-rdb/ 

The dtb file for mpc8315e-rdb should be copied to the sharing directory.

No dtd file is being generated. If one does get generated then it will be copied:

http://autobuilder.yoctoproject.org/pub/nightly/20120403-1/machines/mpc8315e-rdb/
 contains the dtb file. This build run was run with a cleaned sstate. What this tells me is that this is a sstate issue and is not an ab issue. Setting to "Build System" as the product. I can look at this but someone more versed in sstate might have more traction on it.
