I tried to use hob to setup a build for the beagleboard, but failed the dependency checking. I am using the yocto 1.2 beta after the M3 release. I got the following error, but seems to be building fine if I configure for the beagleboard by configuring with the local.conf fails to find linux-yocto-rt /opt/yocto1.2_beagleboard/yp-beta/meta/recipes-rt/images/core-image-rt-sdk.bb /opt/yocto1.2_beagleboard/yp-beta/meta/recipes-rt/images/core-image-rt.bb DEPENDS on or otherwise requires it linux-yocto-rt was skipped: incompatible with machine beagleboard(not in COMPATIBLE_MACHINE)
I can confirm this. I met the same error while working with "1.2 beta testing" snapshot. Did not report immediately since it was my first experience with the HOB: thought I was missing some configuration bit. For me too at least core-image-minimal successfully completed its build when run from terminal. Host machine is Ubuntu 11.10.
Do you mind trying the lastest master or M4 RC1 again? Since I succeeded to build beagleboard with the latest master.

It can not be reproduced using the latest master. (commit id: 5607729d)
