The latest autotools upstream(v3.0.1.201203221532) breaks out cross compiling due to the commit http://git.eclipse.org/c/linuxtools/org.eclipse.linuxtools.git/commit/?id=cca878550d75d77cfff0a21b15135eac17bef7f6. To reproduce this: 1. Create a new Yocto autotools project. 2. select "Project" -> "Reconfigure Project" Reconfigure will fail and displaying the following: sh: /home/lulianhao/runtim-EclipseApplication/helloc/autogen.sh: Permission denied. Configuration failed with error. This is because the upstream now use "sh -c autogen.sh" instead of "sh autogen.sh" to run the script, and the autogen.sh file doesn't have "x" file mode bit enabled. We need to figure out how to enable the "x" bits when creating a new project.
previous autotools version 3.0.1.201202152032 doesn't have this bug.
