Description Jiajun Xu 2012-04-20 04:56:28 UTC
tree/branch: poky/denzil
commit: 2c3d4f5beee8f57a74244495511b9294df1085ea

With denzil branch, a multilib build for 32bit connman against qemux86-64 with ipk format could pass build. But when I start the image, it fails to start X. And there are some segfaults for other applications.
The error log as below:
#######
root@qemux86-64:~# dmesg | grep -i error
v86d[39]: segfault at 3bf547e220 ip 0000003bf547e220 sp 00007fff3c4ddaa8 error 14
uvesafb: probe of uvesafb.0 failed with error -22
runlevel[791]: segfault at 3bf521ec48 ip 0000003af5420e13 sp 00007fff8a9f1600 error 4 in libc-2.13.so[3af5400000+17d000]
Xorg[894]: segfault at 3bf5480200 ip 0000003bf5480200 sp 00007fff8d26b738 error 14
oprofile-server[941]: segfault at 3bf547c740 ip 0000003bf547c740 sp 00007fffc2f39618 error 14
X[978]: segfault at 3bf5480200 ip 0000003bf5480200 sp 00007fffcd716628 error 14
#######

The configure I use to build the image:
#######
MACHINE = "qemux86-64"
require conf/multilib.conf
MULTILIBS = "multilib:lib32"
DEFAULTTUNE_virtclass-multilib-lib32 = "x86"
IMAGE_INSTALL_append = "lib32-connman-gnome"
#######

I find the issue may be caused by bug 1538. When I redo rootfs for the image, X window could start up without segfault. But, instead, seems the fonts in it is corrupted. I will report another for the issue.
