When testing the image deployment, I noticed that the settings are not kept after saving. In this specific situation, the "live" option is not kept, thus the "Deploy image" button is not available after build.

Alex, are you saying the settings can't be remembered between Hob sessions,
I.e. 1) you run the Hob, click "live" in the Settings; 2) do something and close the Hob; 3) run the Hob again but "live" in the Settings is not selected? What is the intent of an autobuilder link? I can't understand.

The settings cannot be saved within the same HOB session.
Settings -> Make some changes -> Save.
Click Settings and the changes are not saved.
I noticed this when trying to add the "live" image type for image deployment testing.
I gave the link so that you know what build i was testing, when the behavior was encountered.

i try to reproduce this issue, but can't find the commitID of 20120629-1 building, so i try on latest poky/master 64f7feb5c37d06e1985c59106cf2f7cd286fd0b8. it is no business with live type, all settings could be saved in or between the hob sessions except toolchian, which would be always x86-64.

The "live" image type is saved and this bug seems to be resolved on master branch latest commit. 
However, there is no "Deploy Image" button available after the build is completed.
I opened bug 2802 for this issue.
Tested on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS X86

The Toolchain behavior is still present, thus the Bug cannot be closed.
