Grub has host contamination issues. An autobuilder build recently failed with: | Processing task-core-boot... | error: Failed dependencies: | liblzma5 >= 5.1.1alpha is needed by grub-1.99-r8.core2 | liblzma.so.5 is needed by grub-1.99-r8.core2 | ERROR: Function failed: do_rootfs (see /srv/home/pokybuild/yocto-autobuilder/yocto-slave/sys940x/build/build/tmp/work/sys940x-poky-linux/core-image-minimal-1.0-r0/temp/log.do_rootfs.23664 for further information) which is caused by grub finding and compiling against lzma but not listing it in DEPENDS. Looking at configure.ac, we need to also deal with device-mapper, devmapper, zfs and nvpair. We'll likely have to patch configure.ac since there are no disable options for these items.
Failure on the autobuilder: http://autobuilder.yoctoproject.org:8010/builders/sys940x/builds/26/steps/shell_27/logs/stdio
Bug fixed. Changes: - add support for the --enable_liblzma option - disable lzma, device-mapper, zfs, nvpair
verified.
