When installing the ADT using this build: http://autobuilder.yoctoproject.org/pub/nightly/20120718-1 I have this error: ####################################################################### Please note from this point on installation requires sudo password ... ####################################################################### Dangling opkg cache folder ///var/lib/opkg detected. Link the ld.so.cache file into the host filesystem ln: failed to create symbolic link `/opt/poky/1.2+snapshot/sysroots/x86_64-pokysdk-linux//etc/ld.so.cache': No such file or directory It seems that the installer creates the /opt/poky/1.2 folder instead of /opt/poky/1.2+snapshot.
This is due to Beth link the adt repo to 1.2.1, which will setup as 1.2 instead of 1.2+snapshot. I'd suggest us stop testing adt installer related test cases till the 2753 is fixed
I've repointed it to 1.2. This should fix the immediate issue.
by creating the symlink to an arbitrary prior built won't work since the info is buried with distro_version. Talked with Beth, to have the issue resolved is to create an adt-dev repo to separate from production repo, i.e. adt-repo
Patch in production. Pending pull to master.
