When trying to move a file/folder by drag&drop in File Manager to a folder in the left "Places" section, the operation is not done. Please note that some animation is shown when doing the above described operation. The attachment was ment for another bug but was posted here as the result of a Bugzilla bug :) Please ignore it.
The drag&drop from the file explorer to Places Menu works. There is however a problem when you are trying to drag&drop a file inside a folder (when both are located in the file explorer - the main window from pcmanfm). Probably the first case works because drag callbacks are different for the two widgets in libfm/gtk/fm-dnd_*.c This problem happens periodically and not every time you try to drag&drop something. When the drag action is not working the mouse click is detected, but the mouse motion afterwards is not. I tested the mouse events with evtest and they work every time so the problem should not be from kernel level or the qemu itself. There might be a problem with gtk+ and the way it dispatches events. TO see every step of a drag&drop action the following
value should be modified in meta/recipes-bsp/formfactor/files/qemux86/machconfig: HAVE_TOUCHSCREEN = 0. This way you will see a mini-icon when dragging.
Can QA please verify that this happens in current images?
