Remote Tools Extension - Specification

This is a feature proposal for extending the current Yocto Eclipse plugin with a graphical interpretation of a (larger) suite of remote tools that will help the embedded system application developer in assessing the performance of applications deployed on target systems using Yocto Project.
There is a large suite of remote tools that make it easy to do a performance analysis report of a system or application from different points of view : memory usage, time spend on the processor, latency, power consumption, thread analysis, and so on. Even though the data provided by these tools is useful, is not enough because we need a tool that data mines the information collected and make it easier to understand.
This plugin extension proposes to make easy-to-use tool for performance analysis of embedded applications offering a complex graphical interface that help you tune your application to the destinated target architecture.
