Steps to reproduce:

1. prepare poky build environment 
2. launch hob having sstate-cache/ and tmp/ empty
3. select a machine

The button for "Select a base image" is frozen.

The following error appears in command line:

Hi Andreea,

Is it against latest master or danny branch, we need the info ASAP since it's going to impact 1.3 release if it's against danny

Hello Jessica,

This bug is on master, and it was introduced by me after 1.3 release cut.

So, 1.3 is clean, this is after 1.3 RC4 was established as code base go.

I will provide a fix right away.
