Description Darren Hart 2012-11-13 16:15:17 UTC
The Yocto Project linux-yocto recipes and the associated kernel tools are very powerful tools that enable efficient management of meta-data and sources, but the documentation around them is either too high level or too detailed to be particularly useful to people wanting to bring themselves up to speed.

A new task-based Linux kernel development and configuration document which walks developers through the most common tasks in a logical progression will go a long way towards addressing this gap.

This is up on the website and basically done. I will be continuing to polish with Scott, but for the purposes of this bug, the task is complete.
