While the bitbake is running i am getting the following error. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- DEBUG: Clearing SRCREV cache due to cache policy of: clear ERROR: Error parsing configuration files Traceback (most recent call last): File "/mnt/Yocto_Project/YP_7.0/poky-denzil-7.0/bitbake/lib/bb/cooker.py", line 197, in BBCooker.loadConfigurationData(): self.parseConfigurationFiles(self.configuration.prefile, > self.configuration.postfile) except SyntaxError: File "/mnt/Yocto_Project/YP_7.0/poky-denzil-7.0/bitbake/lib/bb/cooker.py", line 870, in BBCooker.parseConfigurationFiles(prefiles=[], postfiles=[]): if data.getVar("BB_WORKERCONTEXT", False) is None: > bb.fetch.fetcher_init(data) bb.codeparser.parser_cache_init(data) File "/mnt/Yocto_Project/YP_7.0/poky-denzil-7.0/bitbake/lib/bb/fetch2/__init__.py", line 228, in fetcher_init(d=<bb.data_smart.DataSmart object at 0x2ab6a90>): pass > revs.clear() else: File "/mnt/Yocto_Project/YP_7.0/poky-denzil-7.0/bitbake/lib/bb/persist_data.py", line 142, in SQLTable.clear(): def clear(self): > self._execute("DELETE FROM %s;" % self.table) File "/mnt/Yocto_Project/YP_7.0/poky-denzil-7.0/bitbake/lib/bb/persist_data.py", line 66, in SQLTable._execute(*query=('DELETE FROM BB_URI_HEADREVS;',)): try: > return self.cursor.execute(*query) except sqlite3.OperationalError as exc: OperationalError: attempt to write a readonly database --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It sounds like the files in the tmp/cache directory are readonly...
I tried making it writable being a superuser but was of no use again im getting this error, i have configured my proxy, using tsocks but still its no working. I have pasted what is happening in my system -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- WARNING: Host distribution "Ubuntu 12.04 LTS" has not been validated with this version of the build system; you may possibly experience unexpected failures. These are two different errors which look to be unrelated. The first issue was permissions related. You shouldn't have needed supoeruser permissions, did you originally run a build as the superuser? The second issue looks like it can't connect to git services. Does running the command it mentioned (export HOME="/home/rocky"; export https_proxy="https://proxy.iind.intel.com:911/"; export ftp_proxy="ftp://proxy.iind.intel.com:911/"; export http_proxy="http://proxy.iind.intel.com:911/"; export GIT_CONFIG="/mnt/yocto_project/version7/build/atom_board/tmp/sysroots/x86_64-linux/etc/gitconfig"; export PATH="/mnt/yocto_project/version7/poky-denzil-7.0/bitbake/bin/:/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/bin:/usr/games:/home/rocky/BeatBox/android-ndk-r8:/home/rocky/BeatBox/android-sdk-linux/platform-tools::/home/rocky/BeatBox/android-ndk-r8/:/home/rocky/BeatBox/android-sdk-linux/platform-tools/:/mnt/yocto_project/version7/poky-denzil-7.0/scripts"; git ls-remote git://git.yoctoproject.org/yocto-firewall-test HEAD) manually work?
Rakesh, Did Richard's comments help you? You might also try to starting from scratch with a clean non-superuser user. Also do you have any proxies needed or network firewalls. Running the command standalone might help you identidy this. Please let us know if tihs solves your issues.
If you are still having issues either please REOPEN this bug or file a new one that is more appropriate.
