I am building YP 8 on host linux system Ubuntu 12.04, i have used the documentation properly, i have the shown bellow:

so i have checked the path using 
$echo $PATH

checked my bashrc file too 

cant make-out what error it is !!! is the problem of the host system version ?

The problem is there is "::" in the middle of that PATH expression ("platform-tools::/home/rocky/Be" and it will cause the builds to have issues. Please set a PATH without that empty section.
