Description Andre Schramm 2012-12-21 19:50:12 UTC
Commit 0140519ba15bfb27ccbfb3d41c7e678a1118fc5c to Danny makes hddimg unbootable:

/init: line 71: /lib/udev/udevd: not found

Udev paths changed in udev-174 acc. to [1], but Danny still uses udev-164.
Probable fix: pull in 8fc73baecf1b21b1a3e7eff478e25d2a7cae2879 "udev: upgrade to 182" from oe-core. Upgrading by hand did not fix it, but the RPM at least contains "/lib64/udev/udevd".

A bad cherrypick caused this. Verifying a revert now.
Comment 2 Ross Burton 2013-01-03 17:40:54 UTC
Fixed in danny-next. Terribly sorry this slipped in.
Comment 3 Andre Schramm 2013-01-04 14:44:29 UTC
No problem. I cherry-picked 002ef4aaa5fc207a0b8541f4cd468a2ac410f433 from danny-next and rebuilt the image - udev starts just fine and it boots again. Thanks!
Comment 4 Ross Burton 2013-01-25 17:28:32 UTC
Integrated into oe-core/poky danny branches.
