Description Mark Hatle 2010-10-01 11:32:41 UTC
When building the following message was generated:

WARNING: qemugl: The compile log indicates that host include and/or library paths were used. Please check the log '/home/mhatle/git/poky/build/tmp/work/i586-poky-linux/qemugl-0.0+git0+d888bbc723c00d197d34a39b5b7448660ec1b1c0-r6/temp/log.do_compile' for more information.

From the referened logfile:

/home/mhatle/git/poky/build/tmp/sysroots/x86_64-linux/usr/libexec/i586-poky-linux/gcc/i586-poky-linux/4.5.0/ld: warning: library search path "/usr/X11R6/lib" is unsafe for cross-compilation
Comment 1 Ke Yu 2010-10-08 20:16:12 UTC
This warning is caused by obsolete "-L$(D)/usr/X11R6/lib" in qemugl Makefile. the /usr/X11R6/lib no longer exist in neither host (e.g. Ubuntu 9.04) nor target, because the latest xserver from X.org (X11R7.x) put its libs under standard /usr/lib. so there is no real host system contamination actually, just a harmless warning from gcc.

But it is still good to remove this obsolete /usr/X11R6/lib dir. patch is send out, waiting for checked in.
