Comment 1 Darren Hart 2013-03-13 16:34:12 UTC
I support NB-305 and N450, other bugs get assigned to the reported or someone else with hardware.
Comment 2 Razvan Ionescu 2013-09-13 12:38:05 UTC
Same result obtained on the GenericX86 poky 566ca1e4769b4ec7e3f6c6a98bb817db2221cf82 image.
Comment 3 Ross Burton 2013-09-24 15:21:01 UTC
Are these not bugs in the ACPI firmware, so a problem with the hardware itself and nothing we can fix?
Comment 4 Darren Hart 2013-09-24 15:26:20 UTC
Ross, I believe you are correct.

Alex, have you checked to see if you have the latest firmware for the Lenovo S10-3?
Comment 5 Darren Hart 2013-09-24 21:15:32 UTC
Alex, As noted in Comment 1, unless the hardware is in the supported list, the bug goes to the reporter or to someone else with hardware. I'm assigning to you for now. You can reassign to someone else that has access to the hardware at your discretion. I suspect this particular bug will be closed as INVALID as it appears to be a firmware bug.

Same output can be found in /var/log/messages with genericx86 image on atom-pc hardware.

A new error appeared in 1.6 M2 RC2 (master:1a9226f140f578f11696abf1a3c989fae1d4c14a)

[ 0.247131] ACPI: Marking method _OSC as Serialized because of AE_ALREADY_EXISTS error
Comment 10 Stoicescu Cornel 2014-01-29 12:51:10 UTC
The above error was found in genericx86 image on atom-pc hardware.
Comment 11 Lucian Musat 2014-03-12 15:45:37 UTC
The above error was also found in genericx86 image on atom-pc hardware in M4.rc1
Comment 12 Alexandru Georgescu 2014-04-24 10:04:01 UTC
Lucian, can you take a look on this?
Comment 13 Lucian Musat 2015-04-29 08:09:43 UTC
This error seems to be a firmware problem and also is already in the whitelist of the log parser so I am closing this as notabug.
