Description Alexandru Georgescu 2013-03-11 15:53:48 UTC
Created attachment 1110 [details]
err

When creating a new project which contains invalid characters in its title, an error appears (see attachment 1 [details]). The text repeats itself and it's not explaining very well the cause.

The enhancement would be to change the text to a more clear one, e.g:

Error in creating project "<project name>".

Reason:
"<project name> contains space(s). Project name cannot contain space(s).

As far as I can see, the only thing that I can do from inside our plugin is modify the error message to a more comprehensive one, like "Project name is invalid/contains invalid characters", or extend the validation that is done for the project name similar to the one I did on the Bitbake branch.
A patch for this has been sent to list.
