What device are you installing to? You appear to be missing the root= argument on the command line, but I don't see a list of devices to boot from either, possibly missing a driver.

What is the contents of the grub.conf file on the installed image?

I tried this image on my crownbay. and it is not even giving the syslinux prompt. it is failing before that with a message on screen, which says "boot error"

 Alexandru Georgescu,
WHat media are you trying to install? internal hard disk?
Comment 4 Alexandru Georgescu 2013-04-09 15:49:38 UTC
Hi Nintin,
I was installing it on the local hard drive.

Meanwhile, it seems that for RC3 build (which is newer) I managed to install and boot.

I'm not sure if we should mark this as invalid or not.

Alex,
I guess something went wrong while creating the USB key with the image file there. I am marking it as worksforme, as you are also not blocked by the bug anymore.

Nitin
PS: is Nintin a name you know?
