Attempting to access git://git.yoctoproject.org (or git://yoctoproject.org) gives connection refused. Telnet to git.yoctoproject.org 9418 gives the same. $ git ls-remote git://git.yoctoproject.org/yocto-firewall-test HEAD git.yoctoproject.org[0: 140.211.169.56]: errno=Connection refused fatal: unable to connect a socket (Connection refused) $ telnet git.yoctoproject.org 9418 Trying 140.211.169.56... telnet: Unable to connect to remote host: Connection refused This is blocking work here. Please help.
Ted, does this problem still persist for you today?
I just tried it again. Yes, the problem persists, no change.
Ted, do you have a firewall? The IP address is correct. I am able to get to the site locally (not on any corp network).
OK. I'll investigate here. Since you say that it's working for you, I must assume the problem is on my end. Sorry for the confusion.
FYI if it helps, all of the repositories on git.yoctoproject.org are also available over standard HTTP as well e.g. http://git.yoctoproject.org/git/poky
Confirmed firewall issue here and resolved. Sorry to bother you.
