Currently the systemtap plugin sources oe-init-build-env inside the poky folder by default, without a builddir parameter. This leads to the crosstap script being run from the "poky/build" folder. This makes it useless if the user has a different build folder. Suggested fix: A new Directory Dialog should be added to the plugin window to allow the user to point it to his own build folder. This folder should be used to run the crosstap script.
Hi Adrian, Did you have a patch for this? Can you rebase your patch against latest eclipse-poky-kepler? Otherwise, I'll create a patch for this. Thanks, Jessica
Hi Adrian, Jessica, Do you have any update regarding this? On Kepler is still not working. Thanks, Ada
Hi Ada, I sent a patch for this before the branch-off, but it was only caught in the Juno branch. We are not working with Kepler yet here at Enea, so fixing it for Kepler is not a priority at this moment. If someone else wants to fix it, he can have a look at porting commit a80114b5d1c8d774fd9271da48a38654321d4817 from the Juno branch. Best regards, --Adrian
