Description Alexandru Damian 2013-04-16 12:00:37 UTC
When starting a SystemD-enabled system with runqemu and serial option to get a serial console, the kernel runs console directly, but SystemD does not prompt a login.

The expected outcome is a login prompt on the serial console.

The actual outcome is:
[ TIME ] Timed out waiting for device dev-ttyS0.device.
[DEPEND] Dependency failed for Serial Getty on ttyS0.

Comment 1 Ross Burton 2013-04-16 14:43:09 UTC
Does this image actually have systemd-serialgetty installed?
Comment 2 Saul Wold 2013-04-18 15:49:24 UTC
Please retest with the lastest dylan and respond to Ross's question
Comment 3 Alexandru Damian 2013-04-18 19:16:59 UTC
Yes the image has getty and it fails to run.

However the bug is fixed with the latest systemd fixes.
