Knotty must be able to run as a remote client - this is needed to provide a consistent experience for WebHOB users.

Currently Knotty or other UIs beside HOB cannot run as remote clients.

Recommend High priority.

It works as expected in webhob-poky/master branch, but not all the code is integrated in origin/master.

Feature complete pending webhob merging.
