Description Codrin Pruteanu 2013-05-27 14:10:46 UTC
Creating a bibtake commander project, implies that a poky environment will be sourced in the eclipse console. If eclipse is started in an already sourced environment by mistake, errors may appear. To prevent this, a check must be added in advance.

Error example:

Root exception:
java.io.IOException: Error while executing: DISABLE_SANITY_CHECKS=1 bitbake -e
Error: The OE SDK/ADT was detected as already being present in this shell environment. Please use a clean shell when sourcing this environment script.

Hi Codrin,

Since start eclipse is out of scope of Yocto Project, we can't fix the bug by chaning the code, we can add document that mention before start eclipse, the user need to run command from shell:

echo $OECORE_SDK_VERSION

if it's defined, they need to find a clean shell.

Thanks,
Jessica

This only affects bitbake commander which has been deprecated. Closing.
