Description Jerry Henzel 2013-05-29 15:53:38 UTC
When attempting to run adt_installer, the script errors out during install. It notes that environment-setup-mips32-poky-linux cannot be found and does not continue further. This seems to occur using qemumips as a target. Copying the file to the target install directory from an existing successful install and restarting the installer permits the adt_install script to continue successfully.

Hi Jerry,

Where did you get the adt_installer, built yourself or you downloaded. Also, in your configuration file, what's the URL for adt-repo?

Thanks
Jessica

Hi Jessica

This is related to Bug 4573. The environment is identical. Once I made the tweaks to fix the REPO issue (by changing 1.4.1 to 1.4), this issue appeared.

In review:
Original poky source obtained from GIT (git clone -b dylan git://git.yoctoproject.org/poky.git)

ADT_INSTALLER was made using bitbake adt-installer

The URL for the repo would be http://adtrepo.yoctoproject.org/1.4/adt-ipk/x86_64-nativesdk (edited manually to get past Bug 4573.

Thanks

Jerry

Hi Beth,

We can't simply create the symlink for adt repo for 1.4.1 to 1.4, it'll leading the packages to be installed under /opt/poky/1.4 instead of /opt/poky/1.4.1 since they were build against 1.4 distro version. We have to explicitly build a 1.4.1 repo

This is fixed. I pushed the pre-rc built 1.4.1 out to the 1.4.1 repo.
