ENVIRONMENT: Ubuntu 12.04 x86_64
STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
1. Download poky source and prepare the build environment .
2. Run bitbake man
3. Run bitbake -c clean man
4. Run “bitbake-runtask” command to build some packages. For example, run the following commands:
    "bitbake-runtask man_1.6g do_fetch"
    "bitbake-runtask man_1.6g do_unpack"
    "bitbake-runtask man_1.6g do_patch"
    "bitbake-runtask man_1.6g do_configure"
    "bitbake-runtask man_1.6g do_compile"
    "bitbake-runtask man_1.6g do_install"
    "bitbake-runtask man_1.6g do_populate_lic"
    "bitbake-runtask man_1.6g do_populate_sysroot"
5. Check the return value of each command by using “echo $?” and check the log file in work directory.

EXPECTED OUTCOME: The return value of each command should be “0” and no error message in log file.

ACTUAL OUTCOME:
"
cornel@NODE1:~/SSD/poky/build$ bitbake-runtask man_1.6g do_fetch

Comment 1 Richard Purdie 2013-06-04 10:52:42 UTC
We're about to remove this script so this won't get fixed. Please also remove the test cases (just need to double check with the community about this) to make 100% before we remove it.
Comment 2 Richard Purdie 2013-06-04 10:55:20 UTC
Just to be clear, this wasn't in upstream bitbake any more but was left in poky. I've therefore just removed it.
