Description Diego 2013-07-29 14:51:47 UTC
Board: Boundary Devices Nitrogen6x

Description: windowed OpenGL ES applications rendering is wrong as only a black window appears.
Tested with: mesa-demos' es2gears_x11; glmark2's glmark2-es2 and, on softfp builds, vivante-gpu-sdk samples.

On the contrary fullscreen rendering is ok.
Tested with: glmark2's "glmark2-es2 --fullscreen"

This seems related in a weird way to unity-2d-launcher; see:

Comment 1 Diego 2013-07-29 14:57:12 UTC
By the way, problem has been verified on all the following BSPs:
3.0.35-1.1.0; 3.0.35-4.0.0; 3.5.7-1.0.0

In 3.5.7-1.0.0 can you give a try to run the glmark app using:

$: VIV_DESKTOP=0 glmark-es2

and see if it helps?

It works, but with horrible performances:

How did you get that magic variable?

Someone told me ;-) but I wanted to confirm you get same horrible performance too.

For now we cannot do much. I am setting this as 'WaitForUpstream' as this need to be fixed by Freescale/Vivante.

This has been fixed in 3.5.7-1.0.0-alpha.2 release; I am closing this one.
