Description Stoicescu Cornel 2013-07-30 12:02:50 UTC
1) clone git://git.yoctoproject.org/poky
master:67864ca79da08df752487a3a4e1a975546da123d
2) clone git://git.yoctoproject.org/meta-security
master:a76f79b1c6620e3e5858dc1a9bbf8e6c862f3825
3) source poky environment
4) add meta-security to bblayers.conf
5) add IMAGE_INSTALL_append = " redhat-security" to local.conf
6) create an atom-pc core-image-sato image
7) install image on target BSP

Notice install error:
cat: write error: Invalid argument
Installation image failed

NOTE: This is similar to bug 4229
Comment 1 Stoicescu Cornel 2013-07-31 11:49:53 UTC
Seems that removing rpm from RDEPENDS in redhat-security.bb solves the problem. Also rpm package manager should not be added by this feature as the user should test only features already present on the original image (ex: core-image-minimal).
Comment 2 Andrei Dinu 2013-08-01 09:26:23 UTC
fixed in latest meta-security master
Comment 3 Stoicescu Cornel 2013-08-12 08:52:31 UTC
Verified.
