We're mainly using RSE over ssh now, so missing TCF is not a major issue

It's because during your eclipse installation, you didn't install tcf add-in under mobile. But as I stated since RSE over ssh is our preferred remote connection mechanism now, this is not an issue for us at all.

Scott,

For plug-in related manual for kepler, can you state that TCF is optional? thx.

Hi Jessica,

In the bug description I stated that I have performed a headless build.
Since I am not aware of any documentation or features supported by us on Kepler, I assumed that all should be the same as Juno. Therefore, when performing a headless build in Juno the TCF add-in was not installed as it did in Juno.

So is the TCF add-in supposed to be installed in the headless build?

Thanks,
Alex.

Alex,

As I stated, the headless build won't bring in our plug-in dependent plug-ins. If you need tcf you need to explicitly install tcf plug-in under mobile that from kepler update site. So this is not a bug of our plugin. I believe you just have tcf installed in your juno eclipse, the same for kepler, once you installed once, next time you reinstall our plugin, you don't need to reinstall tcf.

Hi Jessica.

I always perform the tests on a new headless build. For Juno, TCF was always installed by default NOT manually, and this is why I opened the bug in the first place.

I will close the bug as per above comments.
