I may want my yocto-autobuilder checkout to be in one location (say, ~/) but the tmpdir for builds to be somewhere else (my scratch disk at /data, or a tmpfs).

I discovered that you can do this by setting basedir in yocto-worker/buildbot.tac to the directory where you want the data to go.
