The Bluez5 installation can be checked using "make check". A ptest package can be created based on this.
Alex, can you check out how useful the bluez5 test suite is?
The test suite seems to check higher protocol layers of BT stack over local socketpairs, and also utility functions. It does not require actual BT hardware, and runs fine here on a computer without any bluetooth. So I'd say yeah it's fairly useful and could be packaged. ak@kanavin-desktop:~/development/bluez$ make check make --no-print-directory check-am make --no-print-directory check-TESTS PASS: android/test-ipc PASS: unit/test-eir PASS: unit/test-uuid PASS: unit/test-textfile PASS: unit/test-crc PASS: unit/test-crypto PASS: unit/test-ecc PASS: unit/test-ringbuf PASS: unit/test-queue PASS: unit/test-mgmt PASS: unit/test-uhid PASS: unit/test-sdp PASS: unit/test-avdtp PASS: unit/test-avctp PASS: unit/test-avrcp PASS: unit/test-hfp PASS: unit/test-gdbus-client PASS: unit/test-gobex-header PASS: unit/test-gobex-packet PASS: unit/test-gobex PASS: unit/test-gobex-transfer PASS: unit/test-gobex-apparam PASS: unit/test-lib PASS: unit/test-gatt PASS: unit/test-hog PASS: unit/test-gattrib ============================================================================ Testsuite summary for bluez 5.38 ============================================================================ # TOTAL: 26 # PASS: 26 # SKIP: 0 # XFAIL: 0 # FAIL: 0 # XPASS: 0 # ERROR: 0 ============================================================================
