When running "perf test -v 3", the test fails with this log:

1: vmlinux symtab matches kallsyms:

Looking at the vmlinux_path (6 entries long)

vmlinux symtab matches kallsyms: FAILED!

We aware that in order to test this, vmlinux image must be installed (linux-vmlinux). Will patch poky to have this as a rdepends to perf.

Typo: We aware = be aware

I don't have a fix for this yet.

Hello Otavio,

I invested a lot of time in this but it seems that I can't find the source of the issue. Maybe you can take a look too. Or a least give me a hint or so.

There is a hardware limitation in i.MX6 that don´t allow perf to work.
