Most of the times this API call returns a package name: {\"pk\": 16770, \"model\": \"orm.build_package_dependency\", \"fields\": {\"depends_on\": \"packagegroup-base-nfs-dev\", \"dep_type\": 2, \"package\": 8359}} However, there are instances where it is returning the package version. A couple of examples below: {\"pk\": 16781, \"model\": \"orm.build_package_dependency\", \"fields\": {\"depends_on\": \"0.1+git0+afd4e228c6-r15)\", \"dep_type\": 0, \"package\": 8409}} {\"pk\": 186, \"model\": \"orm.build_package_dependency\", \"fields\": {\"depends_on\": \"1.0.9)\", \"dep_type\": 0, \"package\": 133}},
This is root-caused by an issue in the REST API implementation, and is not a data collection bug. This should be solved by the bugs on which depends - changing the REST API and the package tables will fix this issue.
In review poky-contrib: toaster/master. Package dependency mechanism is now rewritten, this bug is no longer applicable.
