"The image types available for selection should not include image types that are incompatible with the machine and distro selections. For example, if I have selected Beagleboard as my machine, I should not see a checkbox for the 'vmdk' image type. I don't think this feature to detect incompatible image types exists at the moment in Bitbake."

This relate to HOB, we'll address it in Toaster.  So close this bug and may open a new one for Toaster.
