Attempting to build meta-toolchain for qemuarm results in the error below: Error: | ui/sdl.c:62:8: warning: type defaults to 'int' in declaration of 'doing_grabs' [-Wimplicit-int] | static doing_grabs = True; | ^ | ui/sdl.c:62:22: error: 'True' undeclared here (not in a function) | static doing_grabs = True;
I was not able to reproduce this, can you provide some additional details about what actually failed and maybe the bitbake "info block" (what it prints when you start bitbake), for example my successful build: bitbake -k meta-toolchain Parsing recipes: 100% |###################################################| Time: 00:00:08 Parsing of 855 .bb files complete (0 cached, 855 parsed). 1186 targets, 32 skipped, 0 masked, 0 errors. NOTE: Resolving any missing task queue dependencies Build Configuration: BB_VERSION = "1.20.0" BUILD_SYS = "x86_64-linux" NATIVELSBSTRING = "Ubuntu-12.10" TARGET_SYS = "arm-poky-linux-gnueabi" MACHINE = "qemuarm" DISTRO = "poky" DISTRO_VERSION = "1.5" TUNE_FEATURES = "armv5 thumb dsp" TARGET_FPU = "soft" meta meta-yocto meta-yocto-bsp = "mut:d74b36fc5dd58f73f575df1e6c3ce0d657ad648b" It appears that you were building qemu at the time, do you have the host system sdl packages installed correctly?
Created attachment 1534 [details] meta-toolchain build log Please see the full log attached. This used to work for us until recently. Could it be related to this change? http://www.mail-archive.com/openembedded-core@lists.openembedded.org/msg44329.html I'm not sure which host sdl packages you are referring to... Are there any supplementary packages that have recently become required?
I tried to reproduce this in Yocto and could not/the build works! So it looks like there is something in our environment that broke it recently. Sorry for bothering you.
