ACTUAL OUTCOME: Having File Manager opened to view the usb content, when I unmount the usb media either from File Manager or Terminal, the File Manager application is unexpectedly closed.
Hi Ionut, This is the normal behavior of pcmanfm. There is also a ticket : http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=801864&aid=3530037&group_id=156956 for this "issue". If you have multiple pages/tabs pcmanfm will close only those who are displaying the mounting point (this is also valid for deleted folders). If there is only one page/tab, then pcmanfm closes the entire window.
