do_split_packages() sets DESCRIPTION, but in usage these are almost always short one-line descriptions, so we should be setting SUMMARY instead. At the moment SUMMARY for packages generated by do_split_packages() ends up with the default value i.e. "${PN} version ${PV}-${PR}" which isn't particularly useful.

See http://www.yoctoproject.org/docs/1.6/dev-manual/dev-manual.html#making-sure-the-packaging-is-done for the fix.  I added a short description to the list of parameters for the do_split_packages.  The description matches what Paul used for the patch.

I am marking the documentation flag "Done".
