Description Alexandru Damian 2013-11-19 12:43:59 UTC
As toaster developer, I want to get automated notifications when Toaster encounters errors during running.

In order to facilitate testing and bug reporting in Toaster,
we need to implement extensive logging and automated uploading of logs to a error reporting server.

The automated tracking and error uploading MUST be enabled only if a user EXPLICITLY specifies an option to the toaster start options.

Documentation change needed to explain new options available and impact of said options.

This needs to be implemented in two steps:

- extensive logging for toaster if the "debug" parameter is specified in the "source toaster start" command line. See http://git.yoctoproject.org/cgit/cgit.cgi/poky-contrib/commit/?h=adamian/development_18112013&id=76a1897da16f4f50632433121c5e9e883b80fe80 for a model of what should be logged.

- automated error reporting (uploading of logs) using the error reporting server if the "tracking" parameter is specified in the "source toaster start" command line.

e.g. to enable both options, the command line would be:

# source toaster start debug tracking
