Jon Masters comment today - says the website is full of information but it's still hard to get a simple step-by-step walkthrough to build and use the bits for a particular board. I guess there is a something like this in the Poky handbook, so maybe we want to highlight this with a separate link on the site, like the BSP guide. Another idea is to develop an actual piece which shows how to build by a particular (easy to obtain) hardware board.
Is this simple walk-through something other than what is in the Yocto Project Quick Start? Are we talking about the steps to build a BSP?
There is ample walk-through stuff in the YP documentation. The Quick start provides one for building and for using a pre-built image. The new YP dev manual will provide several specific examples at release 1.1. I think we should update the website with text that points the user to these resources. For now I have marked this bug as an enhancement.

Scott, Are these two links: - http://www.yoctoproject.org/docs/current/yocto-project-qs/yocto-project-qs.html - http://www.yoctoproject.org/docs/current/bsp-guide/bsp-guide.html the walkthrough Dave mentioned? If yes, I think we can close the bug. Thanks, Alex.
