Description Paul Eggleton 2014-02-25 11:19:26 UTC
Following on from bug 5875, add a test for the kernel's -c menuconfig option. The process would be to run bitbake virtual/kernel, then bitbake -c menuconfig virtual/kernel and change a config option (maybe enable a module since this is easy to check?), then bitbake virtual/kernel, then check if the change was applied by checking both the final kernel config ${B}/.config and looking in the package output.

The menuconfig part of this will obviously require some simple programmatic interaction with the ncurses-based interface; I'm not exactly sure how this would be implemented, but it ought to be possible.

This is a test for oe-selftest. Moving to 1.8 and assigning to Costin.
Comment 2 Bruce Ashfield 2019-05-22 20:56:20 UTC
Moving to 2.8, but it is unclear if there will be cycles to complete this. Since it is now quite old, we are kicking the can down the street yet again.

Bulk move of 64 bugs to 4.3 M3 after a quick review.
If a bug is actually fixed, please add a commit link and resolve it.

Moved to M4.
Comment 5 Trevor Gamblin 2023-09-14 15:45:27 UTC
Mistakenly moved this to M4. Since it's an enhancement, it should be 5.0 M1.
Comment 6 Randy MacLeod 2023-12-21 23:28:28 UTC
Bulk move of 52 5.0-M1 bugs to M2.
Comment 7 Randy MacLeod 2024-01-25 14:28:49 UTC
Bulk move of bugs owned by "unassigned" from 5.0-M2 to 5.0-M3.
