When trying to build using  MACHINE = "intel-corei7-64", I encounter this error:

ERROR: Unable to parse conf/bitbake.conf: ParseError at /home/kyeoh1/work/meta-intel/conf/machine/include/intel-corei7-64-common.inc:6: Could not include required file conf/machine/include/tune-corei7.inc

And the file contain this few line:

# Common configuration for all MACHINES of the intel-corei7-64 type
#

DEFAULTTUNE ?= "corei7-64"
require conf/machine/include/tune-corei7.inc
require conf/machine/include/x86-base.inc

Both tune-core7.inc and x86-base.inc are missingh from meta-intel/conf/machine/include

Could we add back the file?

As I mentioned in email, you can't use the meta-intel master branch with an older release branch of poky or oe-core. intel-corei7-64 depends on the tune files added to the master branch of oe-core/poky.
