I believe that this error can be ignored, it is caused by the type of display attached (or maybe because there is not display) to the device, which might not be reporting it's EDID data correctly.

Kunwei,

Did you ever see this Error message before? Did you change monitor when test this image?
Comment 3 Kunwei Tian 2011-01-18 20:29:19 UTC
This is first time to executed the Blacksand test and found the issue,so I will change another monitor to try it,also jiajun will help to check it again.

We did not change any monitor during testing.

This appears related to http://lkml.org/lkml/2010/9/18/46. The BlackSand has digital outputs that are not connected to the current module.
Comment 6 Darren Hart 2011-02-16 13:27:20 UTC
Possibly related.

All blacksand bugs should be assigned to me in the future.

With linux-yocto_3.0, the dmesg is cleaner. As 3.0 will be the default kernel for the n450 for the 1.1 release, I propose we close this as WONTFIX.
