Hope this is the right place - 

When adding the python-twisted package to my IMAGE_INSTALL, all python-twisted-* sub-packages were deployed to /usr/lib/python2.7/site-packages/twisted in my rootfs tar.bz2 EXCEPT for python-twisted-core 


steps to reproduce:
build image with python-twisted
examine /usr/lib/python2.7/site-packages/twisted/ in tar.bz2 and see that it is missing python-twisted-core files

manual fixes:
add python-twisted-core to your image's IMAGE_INSTALL
or 
add ${PN}-core to RDEPENDS_${PN}in meta-openembedded/meta-oe/recipes-devtools/python/python-twisted_10.2.0.bb

Very sorry, but this isn't the right place - the Yocto Project does not maintain the layers in meta-openembedded. The best place to report issues for those is the openembedded-devel mailing list:
