Adding a package that depends on perl (i.e. perf) to an image that does not have ptest-pkgs as IMAGE_FEATURES (like core-image-sato) results in the perl ptest being installed: cd tmp/work/p2020rdb-poky-linux-gnuspe/core-image-sato/1.0-r0/rootfs/usr/lib find -path "*/ptest" ./dbus-ptest/ptest ./perl/ptest

The bug is related to different recipes. The dbus fix is already upstream thanks to Chong Lu, but the perl is another this, so a different recipe. I will try to investigate this and offer a fix.
Hello guys I am kind of in a dilemma with this bug. If any of you has an idea why the ptest directory for perl package ends up residing into the rootfs I would appreciate the support.
I believe that all I need to do is disabled the tests on install when ptest is disabled, but I do not know the proper way to do this.
