stat provides /usr/bin/stat coreutils provides /bin/stat (symlink to /bin/stat.coreutils) Depending on the path, you don't know what you'll get. The less featured /usr/bin/stat does not support the "--printf=%T" that coreutils does, and this breaks grub2 ; more specifically grub-mkconfig as it generates files [scripts] which in turn are executed (like /etc/grub.d/10_linux) that contain/use the "--printf" switch. I think stat rpm probably should be installing in /bin and it probably also needs to depend on !coreutils as well.
