This issue still exists in 20140826 build. (git rev: master/52b788c6df9201764130ab744bf67b770b24b896) Looks like we need to update the kernel commit in meta-yocto-bsp/recipes-kernel/linux/linux-yocto_3.14.bbappend
The patch from Bruce to update the SRCREV for mpc8315 has been merged.
