Found with poky master:2d1660112e54653f7bb763939d0416472c49fe01 using core-image-sato-sdk for genericx86-64 on Sugarbay hardware. In the ptest output, the glib fails use the "FAILED" keyword instead of "FAIL": FAILED: glib/network-monitor.test (Child process killed by signal 6) FAILED: glib/fileutils.test (Child process killed by signal 6)
Is this still a problem in master?
Hello Ross, Yes, the problem still persists.
Pushed the fix to poky-contrib: http://git.yoctoproject.org/cgit/cgit.cgi/poky-contrib/commit/?h=maxin/poky&id=510fc3842cf46bab0403416c787ed12102778104
Patch sent to oe-core Mailing list: http://lists.openembedded.org/pipermail/openembedded-core/2015-November/112188.html
Hi Maxin, Besides glib there's also "pango" package that has the same issue. http://lists.openembedded.org/pipermail/openembedded-core/2015-August/108305.html
Hi Lucian, (In reply to comment #5) > Hi Maxin, > > Besides glib there's also "pango" package that has the same issue. > http://lists.openembedded.org/pipermail/openembedded-core/2015-August/108305. > html As per Ross's comment, I rechecked problem and found that it comes from gnome-desktop-testing package which we use to run the ptests. Sent a fix to the gnome-desktop-testing project and also sent it to the oe-core mailing list: https://git.gnome.org/browse/gnome-desktop-testing/commit/?id=048850731a640532ef55a61df7357fcc6d2ad501 That modification should fix the output syntax problems with glib, pango and other packages which uses gnome-desktop-testing framework for running tests.
Ok, thanks. Just wanted to make sure.
