Description Laszlo Papp 2014-08-22 12:50:55 UTC
I am working with dylan where the ptest class is unfortunately very broken. :(

I was trying to work it around in my recipe by not using the class, and I wanted to add ptest to the inherit line as follows:

inherit foo # ptest

So that when we upgrade Yocto, I can just remove that comment, but bitbake complains about it. My workaround is to put this into a separate line, but it is more verbose than I like:

inherit foo
# inherit ptest

This has never been supported and would likely be hard to implement in a reliable way. I therefore don't believe its worth adding support for this when there is a simple workaround as you mention.
