> [12:42] < otavio> rburton: I am debugging the mesa failure in fsl-arm > [12:42] < otavio> and it looks to be a bug in pkgdata. It is generating the files for 'empty' packages. In the mesa case, openvg is already disabled in mesa and it outputs the pkgdata anyway The mesa failure I were debugging is: https://autobuilder.yoctoproject.org/main/builders/nightly-fsl-arm/builds/59/steps/BuildImages/logs/stdio and it seems to be a failure in core as the package is empty in mesa.
So, to put the info into the bug, the error is: ERROR: The recipe mesa is trying to install files into a shared area when those files already exist. Those files and their manifest location are: /home/pokybuild/yocto-autobuilder/yocto-worker/nightly-fsl-arm/build/build/tmp/sysroots/imx53qsb/pkgdata/runtime-reverse/libopenvg-dev Matched in manifest-imx53qsb-amd-gpu-x11-bin-mx51.packagedata Please verify which recipe should provide the above files. and those files are created in packages.bbclass, the part which says "Symlinks needed for reverse lookups". I have a suspicion we need to move this generation of some of these links into that end if statement (if g or allow_empty)...
