Description Bruce Ashfield 2014-11-07 21:40:59 UTC
For the Yocto 1.8 kernel, the meta-data should be audited and cleaned for the new release.
Comment 1 Darren Hart 2014-11-20 18:22:39 UTC
This is an iterative process that continues through the kernel-dev update cycles and is finalized in the versioned kernel recipe. Marking as M3, noting that there is a reasonable possibility that this will bleed through into M4 for the final cleanup warnings about missing options, etc.
Comment 2 Bruce Ashfield 2015-03-16 19:01:47 UTC
This is resolved for the core BSPs in the 1.9 cycle. Other layers continue their work, but they
are not tracked by this bugzilla, so we can close it.
